Rainbow Latinx in the Roosevelt High School Series


I was thrilled when Dr. Carolina Fernández (phot0 above with mic) presented a talk about my Roosevelt High School Series at the Congreso Internacional on Chicano Literature in Salamanca, Spain (May 2018)...very exciting given the fact that she is the first scholar to actually recognize that my series is the first YA series by a Xicana/Latina (1994-to date) to address social justice issues as they relate to Chicanos and African Americans.
